Q) What ignited the spark within you to start a career in acting?
A) I started off in a high school play. I played an old man named Fagin from Oliver Twist. The rest is history. I’ve always been influenced by storytelling. It’s how we humans inspire one another. Actors preserve history.
Q) What advice would you give to your fans reading this interview that want to move to LA and try to peruse a career as an actor?
A) You have to JUMP IN! It doesn’t matter if you can’t find the first step. You just have to DO IT. Be in it for the long haul because quick success dies out just as fast. You don’t want to be a flower. You want to be a tree.
Q) If you had to pick one actor you dream working with by the end of your career, who would it be and why do you want to work with them so badly?
A) Brad Pitt. I don’t know why but I feel like there are very few influential “Demi-god” actors anymore. I would enjoy learning how to become the person people want you to be and be yourself when everything is said and done.

Q) What do you like to do in your spare time away from focusing on your acting?
A) I love watching literary analysis videos on animes, plays, books, and video games. All these art forms are different and unique ways to tell a story. It inspires me so much. I recommend watching YouTube. You can find a lot of smart people to listen to for free.
Q) Life has been flipped upside down recently. There is so much opportunity for everyone to grow and reshape life into something a little brighter than our past. When walking around LA do you feel people are trying hard to put back the humanity in regular interactions or have people become more closed off? – What do you hope for most out of all of this?
A) I have hope for the future that God will sort everything out. But I have seen, even in myself, that people are hurting and have become more closed off. I hope that people will grow closer and not let minor beliefs get in the way of coming together as a community. There needs to be more patience and understanding. Less canceling.
Q) What music is currently in your playlist that helps keeps you motivated?
A) I love some Thundercat, Kanye West, Ty Dolla $ign, Steely Dan, and Childish Gambino. Basically all R&B.
Q) If you had to think of a long-term goal, even if that goal was only achievable by the end of your career, what would you like to see happen?
A) I don’t care about an Oscar. I care about influence. Real influence. The type that makes you want to get up and change so that you can help others change. I know that’s vague but I believe that a lifestyle can help with that.
