Q) How would you say fashion has influenced your life so far and has it been more of a negative or a positive impact?
A) Fashion has always been a very prominent factor in my life. I was raised in a very stylish family, so fashion has always been second nature to me. It’s definitely had a positive influence on my life along with many others. Fashion is a form of self-expression and part of who we are. When you meet someone before you say hello or your name, the first introduction is your style. It’s a way to express your mood or feeling for the day when words can’t.
Q) Favorite fashion brands and why do you think you gravitate towards these specific brands?
A) LAZOSCHMIDL or Ludovic de Saint Sernin. I absolutely am OBSESSED with these two brands specifically because I believe they help challenge the ideals of masculinity. That and they produce absolutely gorgeous pieces.
Q) The Internet seems to be bent out of shape because of “The feminization of men” More so now after Harry Styles wardrobe! Why do you think it bothers people so deeply and how do you think men getting in touch with their feminine side will benefit the future?
A) I think that anything that doesn’t fit within the mold of normality scares people. Humans are so used to living their lives within a certain line that as soon as you color outside of it, people panic. I honestly think it’s fantastic to challenge those boundaries. Nothing great ever became of the world with people staying in their own bubble. Progress and change are scary but it’s necessary.
Q) When you are not focusing on productivity and you are trying to just have fun, what do you fill your free time with?
A) It may sound pretty productive, but I absolutely love going to the gym, journaling, yoga, meditating, or discovering new coffee shops. I love love love to explore and find new places.
Q) Favorite Netflix original so far? Why should we all watch it?
A) Ozark. I can’t stress enough how much I love this show. It’s a rollercoaster. I had anxiety the whole third season but in the best way possible.
Q) Funky Socks, Fancy Accessories, Sweatpants, Mugs, Stickers…. Do you have a strange addiction to collecting a specific item? – You know that one thing people in your life judge you for because you have way too much of it, but they still get you more as a Birthday gift!
A) I’m about to sound like a total yoga mom, but essential oils. I have so many that it’s almost embarrassing. My bathroom has a whole shelf of around 60 at the moment.
