BTS (@BTS.bighitofficial) is back and has already set the mood for Summer (along with a new record) with the release of the hotly anticipated second English-language single “Butter“, which according to one of its members is ” A cheerful summer song with soft vibes”.
From left to right, from black and white to color Summer vibes, the music video starts with Jin, J-Hope, RM, Suga, V. Jimin, and Jungkook introduced as the “smooth undercover criminals” they are for melting its listener’s and ARMY’s hearts, before dazzling us with its charismatic charm, colorful looks, singing skills, and dance moves that accompany the synth-upbeat, dance-pop song.
It is clear that we could not talk about BTS without mentioning, as the boys usually do, the new record its latest MV has set, which is being the fastest music video in YouTube history to hit 40M views in just 4 hours & 46 minutes.
It clear that most ARMY will spend this season with “Butter”, especially after the dedication the band made to its fandom, showing us that you cannot spell BTS without ARMY:

The toast always comes before the “Butter”
Before the release of the video, the septet held a special countdown, where they made a toast, both celebrating the upcoming release of the MV and enjoying it through the making of a cooking-related contest, which consisted of the band divided into two teams with each member making a step in the elaboration of a toast, being Jin the host and judge to decide who made the best toast. The boyband invited ARMY to join them in taking or making snacks before enjoying the release of the MV.
Ingredientes apart, during the countdown the boys share their thoughts about its latest single and what fans should really focus on when they hear it, with Suga commenting that the song is super awesome and fans should focus on the song, while RM mentioned each of the members name, probably suggesting the effort that each member put into it.

The next thing for the K-pop septet, according to its schedule, is its presentation this Sunday, May 23 at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards, where they will perform “Butter” (8 PM ET, 5 PM PT, 24th 9 AM KST).
