The images are taken in the house of gallery owner Louis Carré (1897-1977), built by Alvar Aalto between 1957 and 1960, located at 10 rue Messine in Paris.
A.P.C. decided to unite the children of friends who, in many cases, work for the brand and spent two days at the gallerist’s house, with the children of the brand’s friends, posing as models for a photographer of their own generation (between 16 and 20 years old).
“To mark the existence of this fall/winter 2022 collection, and since our “previous era” fashion shows still seem untimely, we decided to ask the children of our friends to pose for the photos, shot by a very young photographer of their generation, Tess Petronio, herself the daughter of friends and collaborators of A.P.C. During the two-day shoot, the energy felt like we were preparing for a show, because there were so many people to photograph and film.
