Inspired by a dramatic tulle and embroidered gown from Viktor&Rolf’s Spring Summer 2019 Haute Couture “Fashion Statements” collection, the doll reflects the designers’ signature blend of surreal elegance and theatrical craftsmanship. The couture silhouette is translated into miniature form through Mattel’s legacy of design excellence, while honoring the spirit and cultural legacy of Disney’s original 1950 film.
The event also celebrated the 75th anniversary of Disney’s Cinderella, bringing the legacy of the beloved fairytale into a modern cultural moment.
