Fashion photographer Alejandro Romero @alejandroromerophoto presents Caught In Time, a fashion editorial exclusively created for Vanity Teen online with the model Pablo Mendez @mendezzpablo represented by Boga Models @bogamodels.
The editorial was inpsired by a vintage style, focusing on retro aesthetics and basic looks. “I had in mind to take the photographs in front of the facades of old houses,” says the photographer. “I also wanted to highlight the colors of the looks between the neutral colors of the location.”
Shot with the photographer’s Canon camera, the shooting took place in the neighborhood of San Rafael in Mexico City, as well as in the photographer’s apartmen and the Morisco Kiosk in Santa María La Rivera.
“The important thing is to see what is invisible to others.”
The photographer wanted to transmit a feeling of nostalgia and good memories through these images. The model performed really great thanks to the good chemistry between him and the photographer, allowing him to transmit the feeling of an old soul, a lover of fashionm strength and tranquility at the same time.
