KB Hong Fall 2021: New Dawn Since its debut at Milan Fashion Week last year, Chinese brand KB Hong, from the K-Boxing group, has made clear its goal of high internationalization through its luxurious and edgy designs. For Fall/Winter 2021 Boming Hong, creative director and CEO of the men’s tailored fashion brand, presents its latest collection entitled ”New Dawn’‘ which combines the brand’s DNA with traditional Chinese culture to celebrate the beginning of a new journey in its secular vision.
The collection makes an introspection of its cultural roots by looking to Jinjiang, Quanzhou for inspiration. Such introspection is translated into the collection through the reinterpretation of the classical garments interwoven with high-quality and attention-to-detail designs in the looks. A red that implies extroversion and vitality interacts with shades of black that denote elegance. Chinese prints interlaced with Italian high-quality fabrics across shades of gray, beige, blue and burgundy.
We have mentioned that in this season there would be a mayor dialogue from brands to overcome the limitations imposed by the pandemic, which prevented physical interaction during fashion week. The collection, presented through a video shows that for KB Hong, this ”new dawn” is the beginning of a new journey for the brand that is here to stay, a new dawn marked by the interweaving of traditional Chinese aesthetics, Italian elegance, and modern trends through innovation.
