The Chinese brand A PERSONAL NOTE 73 (APN73) unveils the Autumn/Winter 2021 COED collection during Milan Fashion Week through a movie created for the digital event. Established in 2019 through a partnership between Italian creative director Andrea Pompilio and multinational JNBY, this collection is inspired by the Italian movies directed by Bernardo Bertolucci, one of the most iconic Italian talent and visionary man.
“We selected references for frames from his movies and combined these with paintings of Francis Bacon, which were a powerful source of obsession and inspiration for the same Bertolucci. The blend and contrast between these influential figures’ personalities represented the initial stage of the creative process for the new collection.”

The collection features oversize shapes with a diverse and bold color palette including bright yellow, orange and green, and electric blue melted with natural warm colors such as camel, chocolate, coffee, and grey. All these colors are applied to a variety of winter fabrics combined with the checked and stripe patterns signature of Pompilio.
