The talented Paris-based photographer Frederic Monceau @frederic.monceau presents the fashion editorial 5 Stars Campin’ exclusively created for Vanity Teen online with the handsome model Justin Manniez @justinmanniez represented by IMG Models @imgmodels.
With this editorial, Monceau wanted to redo some images with the stylist Veronique Droulez @veroniquedroulez to do something fun and strong portraying the image of a modern cowboy, with bold colors and a bold styling that goes perfectly with the vibe.
However, the idea was unplanned as the team prefers to leave room for creativity at the moment of the shooting, without any meticulous ideas that could stand in the way of the freedom of creativity. But they knew the big picture. They wanted to create new footage with Justin, playing a fashion cowboy.
“It’s the first time we’ve worked together with Justin,” says Monceau. “The atmosphere on the set was very creative with the whole team. We all had beautiful common energy that gave rise to beautiful images.”
Frederic also did the art direction, for which the team used different paper backgrounds throughout the series to change the color and mood. The equipment used was a central flash, a beauty bowl, and a Nikon D850, and four hours of shooting. The result is incredible, with amazing quality and a super creative idea!
