Levi’s original plan was to shoot this editorial in his studio, but when he saw Zion with his skateboard he just knew they had to hit the street. “We walked up and down Broadway ave in DTLA and snapped pictures of whatever was around us that I found inspiring and Zion’s incredible energy did the rest,” says the photographer. “I think it tells a story of going with the flow and riding a high energy wave.”
The equipment used was a Canon 5D Mark IV with a Canon 50mm 1.4 lens and Neewer NW580 wireless Speedlite flash at the photographer’s studio in Downtown Los Angeles and the rest was shoot on the streets of downtown L.A.
