VTEEN Worldly: Gucci’s ‘Not Fake’, Supreme x Nike, Burberry’s Olympia

The classic Nike running shoe will come in three colorways along a matching running hat. Available on October 15th and 17th in Japan

On Monday Supreme announced its latest collaboration with Nike: a new version of the Air Max Plus. The ’98 classic running shoe has the Supreme blueprint all over it, coming in three different styles: 1) Hyper green-blue orange, 2) Red-black-pink, and 3) Classic white. The shoe features mesh upper with custom logo TPU fingers at sides, Nike’s Tuned Air cushioning system. Thinking head to toe, the collaboration also features matching dri-fit running hats.

The green and red colorways will be exclusively available at Supreme stores and online on October 15th and October 17th for Japan. The white pair will be available on November.

Continuing its B-Series, Burberry will release this Saturday October 17 a special limited-edition: The Mini Olympia Bag which will be available for 24 hours only.

B-Series are Burberry’s special releases of exclusive, limited-edition pieces curated by Riccardo Tisci, which are available to shop the 17th of each month and for 24 hours only on Instagram. For October, the brand introduces its mini Olympia bag, inspired by the architecture of the venue of its Fall/Winter 20 show.

The launch of the mini Olympia bag will be through an I.G. LIVE at 12pm BST on , 17 October.

It is no surprise that luxury and streetwear brands designs are more than ever plagiarized, and while this has being part of our daily lives, counterfeit has become quite a challenge for brands. Taking an ironic take on this issue, Gucci released it “Fake Not” line for Fall/Winter 2020: ”The narrative began with a print inspired by a retro appropriation of the Gucci logo featuring the bicolor stripe. Entering a new chapter, the green and red design mixes with ‘Fake/Not’—a playful commentary on the idea of imitation.”

The collection features sweatshirts, jackets, capes, bags, wallets and accessories with the words ‘Fake’ and ‘Not’ displayed onto the GG motif. You can shop the Fake Not collection HERE.
