The contemporary fashion brand created by Jamaican designer Edvin Thompson Theophilio @theophilio presents Solace, its latest collection for the Fall/Winter 2021 season, which focuses on how heroism looks different than what we as a society have used to define it to be for so long, inspired by all those people who have been fighting during the pandemic.
Aimed at inciting all of us to find our inner superhero, this collection is inspired by ‘The Matrix” and the way society is presented as a ‘simulation’. The designs from the collection are supposed to give comfort and consolation in a time of distress and sadness, with strong tones, references to Caribbean style, and asymmetrical and sharp cuts providing amazing silhouettes.
