New York Fashion Week officially opens the Spring/Summer 2027 fashion season from September 10 to 15, with a packed schedule of runway shows and designer presentations. The week begins with Henry Zankov’s debut as artistic director for Diane von Furstenberg and closes with Thom Browne. Ralph Lauren, Coach, Cult Gaia and Rachel Comey are also among the names starting the New York fashion conversation.
The official New York Fashion Week schedule brings together established American fashion names including Calvin Klein Collection, Carolina Herrera, Michael Kors Collection, Khaite, Altuzarra and Tory Burch, alongside a new generation of emerging designers.

London Fashion Week: Where Fashion Gets Experimental
September 17–21, 2026
London Fashion Week follows New York from September 17 to 21, bringing its signature combination of established British creativity and emerging fashion talent. The official programme includes runway shows, presentations, pop-ups and showcases across womenswear, menswear and accessories.
For anyone looking beyond the runway, London Fashion Week is particularly interesting this season. The BFC Jewellery Showcase at Dover Street Market is open to the public, while the programme also includes pop-ups and creative events alongside the traditional fashion shows.

Milan Fashion Week: Fashion, Craftsmanship and Vogue World
September 22–28, 2026
Milan Fashion Week begins on September 22 and runs until September 28. This year, the opening date comes with a major event that deserves its own spotlight: Vogue World Milano.
Taking place on September 22, Vogue World will bring fashion, Italian creativity, craftsmanship and culture together at the beginning of Milan Fashion Week. It is the fifth edition of the event and follows previous editions in New York, London, Paris and Los Angeles.
The timing makes Milan one of September’s biggest fashion destinations, with the city moving directly from a major global fashion event into a full week of Spring/Summer 2027 runway shows.
Vanity Teen take: Milan is where Fashion Month becomes a full lifestyle experience. The shows matter, of course, but so do the hotels, restaurants, aperitivos and after-hours moments surrounding Milan Fashion Week.
Paris Fashion Week: The Fashion Month Finale
September 28–October 6, 2026
Fashion Month ends where the industry’s attention inevitably turns: Paris.
Paris Fashion Week runs from September 28 to October 6, closing the Spring/Summer 2027 season with nine days of runway shows, presentations and fashion industry events. The official calendar includes 68 runway shows and 33 presentations. Major fashion houses including Dior, Chanel, Saint Laurent and Louis Vuitton are set to take part.
This season will also bring several notable creative moments, including new creative debuts at Courrèges and Carven. Valentino, Maison Margiela and Sacai are among the fashion houses returning to Paris after showing elsewhere.
Paris Fashion Week also extends beyond the runway. The FHCM’s SPHERE showroom, dedicated to supporting emerging designers, will take place at the Palais de Tokyo from September 30 to October 6.

Fashion Month Events Beyond the Runway
The most interesting part of Fashion Month is not always happening inside the show venue.
September is filled with fashion brand activations, designer presentations, exhibitions, dinners, parties and creative gatherings. Fashion Week has become an entire ecosystem, and for a new generation, the experience surrounding the clothes can be just as important as the collections themselves.
London’s public showcases and pop-ups, Milan’s Vogue World and Paris’s emerging-designer spaces are reminders that Fashion Month is no longer simply about sitting front row. It is increasingly about discovering what is happening around the official fashion calendar.
Back to school? Maybe. But make it fashion.
