Sankuanz @sankuanz_official Fall-Winter 2019 Lookbook

The Chinese fashion Brand SANKUANZ @sankuanz_official presented its “Drown 52” collection for this Fall/Winter seasoned this Paris Fashion Week Men’s 2019, taking a retro-futuristic look based on military and marines’ uniforms.

SANKUANZ’s designer Shangguan Zhe presented some pieces that explore the future of the internet and its impact on modern society. Displaying the clash between subculture and fashion, the duality between destruction and protection, the range shows exaggerated tailoring by rave wear with hybrid looks and as a result, he wears are elegant, modern and contemporary while maintaining a retro touch through details such as zippers and buttons, and wide endings.

Menswear is elegant and androgynous, while womenswear is mysterious and assertive. Aside from re-imagining traditional silhouettes for menswear, for the first time in the brand’s history, the tailoring was crafted especially for women.

Outfits consist of exaggerated suit jackets and blazers and slim-fits pants accented by silver finger rings and earrings, holster vests and convertible sling bag/waist pouches.

Some key features of the collection include crocodile and smooth leather wares that are decorated with zippers, along with black technical outwear covered with brilliant, reflective banding. Some other notable and casual pieces include a two-tone cropped crocodile leather flight bomber jacket, the minimalist brilliant leather backpack, a full-print blue and light-blue spandex long sleeve shirt with a long neck, a blue crocodile leather suit, a denim jacket with zippers and zipper suiting trousers. To wrap things up, the Fashion Week Men 2019 collection has a footwear section that includes sneaker sandals, square tip boots, and trail-inspired sneakers, as well as some extravagant accessories such as spiky AirPod-like earrings, metallic claws-like rings, and gloves resembling firefighters’ gloves or even Nintendo’s Power Glove.
