Rosalía is taking a stand. The Grammy award-winning artist is speaking out against a male musician who posted photoshopped nude images of her.
Musician JC Reyes posted altered images of the singer, alleging she sent him the fake nudes during an Instagram live stream, according to Rolling Stone. Her sharp-eyed and devoted fans knew better, quickly debunking the images and starting the hashtag #RespectRosalia on social media.

The Spanish artist voiced her stance on Twitter, writing, “Seeking clout by disrespecting and sexualizing someone is a form of violence and it’s disgusting, but doing it for four plays of + what gives is shameful.” “A woman’s body is not public property. There’s something called consent, and all of you who found it funny or plausible, I sincerely hope that one day you learn that you come from a woman, that women are sacred and that we need to be respected, bye,” she continued.
Major side-eye to anyone who thinks fake nudes or revenge porn is okay.
