Today (April 21), Rosalía shared a collection of snaps on Instagram from her exciting day at The Broad Museum in downtown LA with none other than BLACKPINK’s Lisa.
The stylish duo posed in front of iconic art installations like Robert Therrien’s Under The Table and Yayoi Kusama‘s Infinity Mirror Room and even grabbed a bite at a local food truck.
Rosalía’s caption for the photos read, “Mi amiga es más bonita que un Basquiat,” which translates to “My friend is prettier than a [Jean-Michel] Basquiat [painting].” Both Rosalía and BLACKPINK had recently performed at Coachella weekend one on April 15, and they’re set to return for the second weekend on April 22.
During her Coachella set, Spanish sensation Rosalía brought out her fiancé Rauw Alejandro for a performance of ‘Beso’ and ‘Vampiros.’ She also covered Enrique Iglesias’ hit ‘Hero.’
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK made history as the first Korean group to headline Coachella, following their debut appearance in 2019 when they became the first female K-pop act to perform at the festival.
In other Coachella news, day three headliner Frank Ocean has withdrawn from the festival’s second weekend. The singer, originally scheduled for April 23, will be replaced by Blink-182. Additionally, Coachella has been fined over $100,000 for breaking its curfew on all three days of the weekend.
