From Bowling Green, Ohio to New York Fashion Week, Nikolas Kuhn’s story has moved fast. At 20, the 6’2” model is only a few steps removed from the life he knew before fashion: working at UPS, going to college, and enjoying the quietness of his hometown.
Then Instagram changed the trajectory.
Scouted online and soon walking his first NYFW show for HOLD NYC, Kuhn found himself entering a world built on movement, instinct and possibility. For this New York story, photographed by Francis Wintour, he brings that same energy to the camera: curious, unfiltered and clearly not interested in stopping at modeling.
Because behind the face and the runway is someone already looking toward whatever comes next — from learning to act to finally making it to Japan, a dream he’s carried since he was five. If his future self is reading this one day, he has only one hope: to look back and be proud of how far he came.
For now, he’s just getting started.
