At Coperni, technology is never just a backdrop; it’s a mirror for how we live now. For Fall/Winter 2025, the house transforms its runway collection into a virtual playground with a campaign titled The LAN Party. Shot by Karim Sadli, it stars Alex Consani, the breakout model who closed Coperni’s FW25 show in Paris, recast here as a constellation of gaming avatars.
Consani embodies multiplicity. In Sadli’s images, she slips from one persona to another. Each look from the runway is rendered as a character at play: bold, sharp, faintly surreal. The conceit is simple, but the effect is striking. Coperni’s tailoring, sculptural dresses, and high-shine accessories become not costumes but identities, ready to be switched with a keystroke.
The campaign draws on the language of gaming not as gimmick but as metaphor. A LAN Party — the communal act of connecting computers for play — becomes a symbol of fashion’s own multiplayer dynamic, where identity is shared, swapped, and endlessly revised. For a generation raised on screens, the suggestion that clothes are avatars feels less speculative than inevitable.
Styled by Helena Tejedor with set design by Joris Navarro Lopez, the images maintain Sadli’s signature restraint: stark backgrounds, cool light, a precision that frames Consani’s transformations without overwhelming them. Hair by Stéphane Lancien and makeup by Christelle Cocquet sharpen the edges further, toggling her between glamazon and gamer, fantasy and flesh.
It’s this tension that defines Coperni under Sébastien Meyer and Arnaud Vaillant. Their work has always occupied a liminal space between the digital and the physical, the everyday and the hyper-staged. With The LAN Party, they make that liminality explicit, translating the runway’s closing moment into a campaign that asks what it means to dress when identity itself is mutable.
Coperni’s answer is characteristically sleek: fashion as interface, elegance as code.
