Meet model Mitch Tummel, who grew up on the shores and dunes that surround Lake Michigan and whose start in the modeling industry is quite interesting! He was into motocross when he was younger and he was asked to do a shoot for a dirt bike sponsor. Shortly after, a few modeling agencies took notice and began scouting him!
Q: Can you tell us a bit about yourself?
A: Yeah, of course, I grew up in a small town in Michigan riding bikes hanging with friends and getting in trouble as a young kid, I enjoy new things and accomplishing goals. Like most people, I like seeing family and friends and enjoy seeing new places. I also enjoy filming and making fun podcasts with my cousin!
Q: How did you start modeling? And acting?
A: I started modeling and acting very unexpectedly, I use to just care about racing dirt bikes up until around I was 16 years. I had a motocross sponsor who asked me to do a shoot for their website and I said yes, soon after I received some emails from modeling agencies and I have it a go! I’m glad I did.
Q: What do you like doing on a daily basis? What makes you happy?
A: I like to adventure and try new things! Of course, I still love my action sports roots! Having the feeling when you achieve something or a nice cookout with family and friends are just a couple of ways to get me happy!
Q: Name your biggest dream as a model and as an actor.
A: I would love to work with some of the top brands in the fashion industry as well as start in some major films! Both would be great opportunities!
Q: How would you define yourself?
A: I am a very passionate and ambitious person! Always wanting to achieve something new. It’s a blessing and a curse haha it’s hard to be satisfied!
Q: How do you see yourself in a couple of years? Do you have any future plans?
A: Yeah! I’m always trying to plan new things and get stuff in the works. In a couple of years, I plan to have a few good acting roles under my belt and hopefully have those skills honed in as well as accomplishing more in the modeling world!
Q: Would you change anything from your life? Tell us any lesson life has taught you.
A: No I don’t think so. I asked myself this not too long ago but I find it better to make the best out of your opportunities and choices! Some things I think I could have done better but I wind dread on them. My best advice would just be to enjoy life, be a nicer person to each other because we are all human, and enjoy life, it’s such a gift!
