Maison Valentino Leads Luxury Fashion with Virtual Try-Ons Through Farfetch’s Wanna App

Maison Valentino is pushing the envelope in the fashion industry by becoming the first luxury brand to offer ready-to-wear virtual try-ons (VTOs) through the Wanna demonstration app, a cutting-edge augmented reality (AR) tech company under Farfetch’s umbrella.

Valentino Innovates with Virtual Try-On Technology

The prestigious Italian brand will roll out a VTO pilot clothing project with Wanna, using a carefully selected assortment of men’s upper-body clothing pieces from their Urban Flows Autumn 2023 collection.

“Trying on” the ValenTie from the New Collection

In addition, customers will have the opportunity to “try on” the ValenTie from the brand’s FW23/24 line, a tailoring accessory currently available for early access on Valentino’s e-commerce site.

Bridging the Gap in Online Shopping

With the VTO technology, Maison Valentino aims to bridge the gap created by the inability to try on products when shopping online. The Wanna app allows customers to visualize how a garment would look on them through their phone camera before making a purchase, blending the physical and digital worlds in an innovative shopping experience.
