Karl Lagerfeld‘s eponymous brand is set to unveil a luxurious furniture and homeware line at the prestigious Salone del Mobile trade show in Milan later this month. This launch follows the revelation that the late designer’s extensive estate could fill a museum, featuring iconic pieces such as a Jean Prouvé desk and chairs by Philipp Starck for Cassina.
The furniture line, inspired by Lagerfeld’s unique approach to interior design, blends classic and historical styles with contemporary elements. It will be divided into four main collections, each named after Lagerfeld’s favorite Parisian neighborhoods: “Saint Germain” and “Saint Guillaume” for living room and bedroom furniture, “Quai Voltaire” for the kitchen, and “Rue de l’Université” for lighting.

Caroline Lebar, VP of Image and Communications for the brand, who collaborated with Lagerfeld for nearly four decades, emphasized his distinctive design philosophy: “He was not a collector…he would become an expert” in any style that caught his attention.
Each collection will showcase the work of a guest creator interpreting Lagerfeld’s design approach, celebrating his passion for interior design and serving as “a message of love to Karl.” All pieces will be crafted in Italy, with prices ranging from €1,850 EUR to €23,000 EUR.

The luxury furniture line aligns with the brand’s ongoing ventures, including a five-star hotel and residential projects. The debut of this exclusive collection at Salone del Mobile in Milan begins on April 23, offering a testament to Lagerfeld’s enduring impact on the world of design.
