Ismael Dia by Oskar Cecere

Photographer Oskar Cecere @oskarcecere worked with the handsome model Ismael Dia @ __starboyz__ represented by Crew Models @crewmodelmanagement to present this fashion editorial exclusively created for Vanity Teen online!

The inspiration for the shot was the American actor Sidney Poitier, an artist who paved the way for other African American artists with his charm and talent.

The images have almost the sharpness of a photographic test for a go-see, very clean cut and with the sole intention of showing the beauty of the model Ismael Deli, without too many distractions.

As an actor would do in front of a director to convey all his expressive force, from strength to the most disarming sweetness.

“I have always loved Cinema and taken inspiration from actors and directors,” says the photographer. “I am so permeated by movies’ imagery, that sometimes I unconsciously channel a particular actor or movie in my shooting, and then I only realize it when I look at the work.”
