“Panos and I always inspire each other with a bunch of ideas and moods,” says the photographer. “This story doesn’t have a specific reference but more of a mix of our moods on that day. We sure had something on our minds, but it all came out as a fun and special afternoon in the end. We are both goofy and creative so that was enough on its own.”
These photos were taken on a quiet beach near the photographer’s place in Piraeus called Votsalakia, only using Joey Leo’s trusty camera and natural light, as he’s always been a lover of daylight, keeping it as real and simple as he can. “I don’t need fancy anyways, chemistry and vibrations are enough to create something beautiful.”
