Paris-based portrait and fashion photographer Jérémy Bauduffe @stockphotographique presents Fluidity, a fashion editorial exclusively created for Vanity Teen online with the model Yuki Yamada @yu_ki333.
The story behind this photoshoot is about the photographer’s vision of masculinity in a society that is still too narrow-minded. Bauduffe decided to represent fluid masculinity as opposed to the toxic one, taking inspiration for the looks from his childhood tales.
“This photoshoot is to put one stone in the foreground of gender fluidity and throw another on toxic masculinity.”Jérémy Bauduffe
The equipment used was a Nikon D750 camera, and three continuous lights, and it was shot in the photographer’s place.
“No one is more arrogant towards women, more aggressive or contemptuous than a man worried about his manhood.”Simone de Beauvoir
The styling is a combination of second-hand clothes, handmade pieces with tulle by the stylists, and fabrics from Marché Saint Pierre. The model was very involved, and really confident about this project.
