On November 9th, Dries Van Noten debuted “Common Ground,” an exhibition at The Little House Gallery in Los Angeles that delves into the theme of home. Curated by Brian Boa of Trading Places, the show features works from six contemporary artists, including EFE, Martine Syms, Mark Leckey, Lloyd Foster, Walid Labri, and Hassan Rahim. Through diverse mediums—sculpture, video, and painting—these artists explore identity, belonging, and the evolving concept of domestic life.
Highlights include EFE’s and Hassan Rahim’s sculptural pieces, while video installations from Syms, Labri, and Leckey reinterpret personal spaces. Lloyd Foster’s double-sided painting, “Blue,” questions the stability of home.
