Some summers begin with a promise.
This one begins with a shift.
Chemical Summer constructs an artificial season where the wardrobe resists the climate around it. Wool absorbs the sun. Leather behaves like a second skin. Underlayers remain exposed, no longer hidden but deliberately present.
The world is suspended in clean lines, bleached daylight, and controlled surfaces — until familiar codes begin to slip subtly out of register.
Summer, traditionally associated with ease, escape, and softness, is reworked here through structure, tension, and distortion. Silhouettes feel restrained rather than relaxed. Fabrics create friction against the body instead of lightness. Nothing dissolves naturally; everything is held together with intention.
The project explores the collision between seasonal expectation and constructed identity, replacing spontaneity with precision, and comfort with aesthetic discipline. What emerges is a synthetic atmosphere: minimal, sharp, overheated, and emotionally detached.
Chemical Summer is not about nostalgia for the season.
It is about interrupting it.
