The creator of the label Benji WZW, Benji Wong, presented his Spring/Summer 2015 collection during Toronto’s first Men’s Fashion Week. Named ROSES DROWNING IN A MOLOTOV COCKTAIL, the collection “Was all about self-destruction, pain that becomes pleasure at a certain point. Smiling so much that no one ever knows what’s wrong. It was really about looking at imagery of violence and how does that turn into an emotional reaction for the audience and people who wear it.”, Benji told The Star.com. Design elements such as embroidery and denim-wear through the incorporation of childhood cartoons which have been 3D printed, modeled and hand sewn with an innovative take on denim.
