Photographer Senen Insua @senen_insua_estudio presents Agóchase No Norte (She Hides In The North) a beautiful fashion editorial exclusively created for Vanity Teen online in A Coruña, Spain, with the model Marta Toba @martatoba_ and an amazing team.
Galicia is a region in Spain where culture and society are heavily influenced by its environment. The climate and the difficult orography gave rise to a primarily rural society where harnessing, utilization and functionality were part of the daily life of its locals for centuries. To this day, that spirit is still present in its inhabitants, towns, and cities.
“We wanted to express that same wild, rustic and minimalist energy; the essence and vibes that transmits to us this place where we live. We seek to show a part of what is born here and for this reason, the editorial has been carried out mainly with emerging designers and some already consolidated brands from A Coruña, one of the provinces and cities of the region.”
The editorial was shot in film using the following equipment: Canon a-1 with canon fd 50 mm 1.4 scc, Bronica etrs with zenzanon eII 75mm 2.8, Canon eos 5QD with canon ef 24-70 2.8 L, Yashica 635 Yasikor 80mm 3.5. The film in color was Kodak portra 160 and 400, Fujifilm pro 400h, and the B&W: Ilford hp5, fomapan 400, bergger pancro 400. The location of the shoot was in Barrañán beach, A Coruña, Spain.
