Filigrane: When Perfumery Meets the Art of Jewellery in Search of Hidden Details

Filigrane, the collaboration between Notes de Bas de Paje and Tant d’Avenir brings together fragrance and jewellery, where attention to detail takes centre stage and the invisible takes shape.

The worlds of perfumery and jewellery come together in Filigrane, an exclusive collaboration between Notes de Bas de Paje and Tant d’Avenir, set to be unveiled on 18 November 2026 at Dover Street Parfums Market in Paris. The project explores the connection between craftsmanship and attention to detail through two creations: a perfume extract and a handcrafted silver and citrine pendant, produced in a limited edition. Two distinct pieces, available separately or as a set, telling the same story through different forms of expression.

Behind the project are two Parisian houses united by a shared pursuit of authenticity and an appreciation for detail. Tant d’Avenir, a jewellery house founded in 2017 by Quentin Pontonnier, creates unisex jewellery using precious metals and gemstones in its atelier near Place de la République, combining traditional craftsmanship with a contemporary sensibility.

Notes de Bas de Paje, meanwhile, was founded by Alice Gensse and Pierre-Jr Menana, two legal professionals who chose to turn their passion for perfumery into a new form of creative expression. For the house, each fragrance is an olfactory narrative capable of evoking memories and emotions, while every packaging design is conceived as a book, ready to hold a story.

The concept behind the collaboration is captured in its name, Filigrane. In jewellery, filigree is an ancient goldsmithing technique involving the intertwining and soldering of delicate metal threads to create intricate designs. In papermaking, the term refers to a hidden pattern that only becomes visible when a sheet is held up to the light.

This dual meaning becomes the perfect metaphor for the meeting of the two houses: the beauty of what does not immediately reveal itself, but remains as a hidden, almost imperceptible detail.

“The imperceptible has its own ways of never disappearing.”

From this shared vision comes a fragrance created by perfumer Camille Chemardin, in which iris, eucalyptus, pepper, myrrh, saffron, woods and leathery notes intertwine in a composition rich in nuances. Translating the same universe into a tangible form is a sterling silver 925 pendant set with citrine, reflecting the precision and artisanal sensibility of Tant d’Avenir.

Filigrane is therefore more than a simple collaboration between two brands: it is a dialogue between the visible and the invisible, between what we wear and what we perceive. An invitation to rediscover the value of the smallest details, those subtle traces that often hold the deepest meaning of an object or a memory.
