Nine international designers will join an interdisciplinary program at Park Avenue Christian Church during New York Fashion Week
NEW YORK — Designers, artists, sustainability leaders and fashion professionals from around the world will gather for Unique Fashion Show New York 2026 on September 13 at the historic Park Avenue Christian Church, 1010 Park Avenue, Manhattan.
Presented by the Unique Fashion Foundation Association of France, the event is expected to welcome more than 600 guests from the international fashion, business, art, technology, media, education and diplomatic communities.
Taking place during New York Fashion Week, the program will combine runway presentations by nine international designers with a designer showroom, sustainability discussions, digital and visual art, awards, live performances and professional networking.
More than a traditional runway production, Unique Fashion Show operates as an international platform connecting designers and creative professionals with buyers, investors, media, educational institutions, technology companies and cultural organizations across Europe, North America, the Caucasus and Central Asia.
International designers take the runway
The New York edition will present designers representing a range of cultural traditions and contemporary creative perspectives.
French luxury lingerie house THE AUDACE PARIS, founded by Sarah Khorchid El Kerdi, will showcase its jewelry-inspired approach to couture craftsmanship and contemporary femininity.
Kazakhstan will be represented by several designers. Volskaya Atelier will present a youth-focused collection celebrating freedom, confidence and individuality. TURSUNKULOV, founded by Timur Tursunkulov, will reinterpret traditional Kazakh ornaments and craftsmanship through contemporary haute couture. Raushan Anuarbekova will celebrate the Kazakh grandmother as a symbol of elegance, wisdom and timeless grace.
German brand Lady Suits by Emmely Roloff will bring its architectural approach to women’s tailoring, combining sculptural silhouettes, technical precision and sustainable craftsmanship.
United States–based ARA Art and Design Studio, founded by Sanaz Masoumi, will explore textile artistry, sculptural design and cultural storytelling through handcrafted techniques and experimental materials.
Tajikistan Fashion Week, founded by Tokhir Ibragimov, will present Tajik designer Mahin Olimzoda, whose work brings traditional cultural influences into a contemporary fashion context.
The complete nine-designer lineup will be announced in the official event program.
Alongside the runway presentations, an international B2B and B2C showroom will connect designers with buyers, retailers, investors, media representatives, fashion professionals and consumers. The showroom is designed to turn runway visibility into longer-term opportunities, including retail introductions, editorial coverage, international representation and creative partnerships.
Sustainability, art and technology
Sustainability will be a central theme of the New York program. Designers, educators and industry experts will discuss responsible production, circular fashion, material innovation and practical sustainability solutions for independent brands.
The event will also open the 2026 edition of the International Sustainable Fashion Contest, organized in partnership with Sustainable Fashion Week US and Inside Fashion Design USA. The competition is dedicated to discovering and promoting designers helping to shape the future of responsible fashion, with the winners scheduled to be announced during Milan Fashion Week in 2027.
The Fashion and Digital Experience will explore how artificial intelligence, digital creativity, visual art and interactive media are influencing the fashion industry.
Artistic programming will include a live performance by internationally recognized Los Angeles–based artist Robert Vargas and a special performance presented by New York City Opera, creating a dialogue between visual art, classical performance and contemporary fashion.
The work of figurative artist Lilit Gevorgyan will also be presented. Exhibited across Europe and Asia since 2004, Gevorgyan explores themes of hope, dignity, compassion and renewal through figure, movement, light, color and nature.
The program will continue with the Unique Fashion Show International Model Awards, recognizing professional excellence in international modeling, and the Art Estate International Awards Ceremony, celebrating contributions to fashion, art, creativity, innovation and culture.
An expanding international platform
Following nine editions across Europe and the United States, Unique Fashion Show continues to expand as an international meeting point for fashion, culture, education, technology and business.
Founded by Gita Dzhavid, Unique Fashion Show and the Unique Fashion Foundation Association create international visibility and professional development opportunities for designers, artists and creative organizations around major fashion periods in New York, Milan and Paris.
The New York edition brings these communities together in Manhattan, creating a space where collections can be discovered, professional relationships can begin and new international collaborations can take shape.
