For over a decade, Razzmatazz has transformed midweek nights into something far more than routine. Every Wednesday and Thursday, the iconic Barcelona venue becomes a playground of sound and style, merging pop, reggaeton, electronic music, and subcultural expressions into a multi-sensory experience.

A First-Hand Experience from Vanity Teen
Last Thursday, the Vanity Teen editorial team was invited to experience Mandanga firsthand—and it did not disappoint. The crowd, mostly in their twenties and early thirties, was full of energy, expression, and style. Every room was packed, the atmosphere was electric, and the connection between DJs and audience was palpable.
One of the evening’s highlights was Carlos Bayona, whose blend of 80s-inspired electro tracks created an unforgettable mood in Room 5. His set was both nostalgic and futuristic—a rare balance that perfectly captured the spirit of the night. Without a doubt, Bayona is a name to watch (and dance to).
More Than a Party: A Weekly Cultural Statement
What began as a niche party has become a staple of alternative nightlife in Barcelona. Beyond music, these events foster a collaborative ecosystem where DJs, performers, visual artists, and a culturally diverse crowd come together to explore the night as a space for creative and personal expression.
Wednesday and Thursday nights at Razzmatazz are more than entertainment—they are curated cultural happenings. Each room offers a different lens through which to experience nightlife in the 21st century.
