DIOR is set to make a prominent return to the Venice Biennale, reinstating its role as an official donor at this prestigious art event. The luxury fashion house plans to sponsor a series of additional exhibitions and, for the third consecutive year, will collaborate with the Venetian Heritage Foundation to host a charity ball. The 60th Venice International Art Biennale, organized by Brazilian curator Adriano Pedrosa, runs from this Saturday until November 24. This year’s theme is named after the feminist art collective Claire Fontaine, which has previously collaborated with DIOR, including at the brand’s Pre-Fall fashion show in New York.
DIOR will also support new works by Indian artist Karishma Swali and the Chanakya School of Craft in Mumbai, an institution that has regularly partnered with DIOR’s womenswear designer Maria Grazia Chiuri for fashion shows. This initiative highlights DIOR’s commitment to fostering artistic collaboration and supporting global craftsmanship.
