Chart-topping artists The Weeknd and Future have teamed up once more to deliver their latest collaborative project, “Double Fantasy.” The Weeknd co-produced the track with the help of music industry veterans Mike Dean and Metro Boomin.
The song’s release is accompanied by a captivating music video starring Lily-Rose Depp. This visual treat also serves as a teaser for the forthcoming series, The Idol, in which both The Weeknd and Lily-Rose Depp have leading roles.
The Idol revolves around Jocelyn, a troubled pop star portrayed by Depp, who finds herself entangled in a relationship with a cult leader named Tedros, played by The Weeknd. As the story unfolds through their tumultuous relationship and Jocelyn’s quest for self-discovery amidst her fame, audiences will be taken on an emotional journey toward her redemption.

The anticipation for The Idol is already palpable among fans, and the release of “Double Fantasy” as part of the series’ soundtrack only serves to heighten the excitement. The Weeknd, who was named the “World’s Most Popular Artist” by Guinness World Records earlier this year due to his streaming success, seems to be on track for yet another hit. “Double Fantasy” is currently available for streaming on Apple Music and Spotify, while The Idol is set to premiere on HBO Max on June 4th.
Don’t miss out on the latest collaboration from The Weeknd and Future, and be sure to catch the premiere of The Idol in June!
