VTeen x LCS: Dare to Dare by Zuzu Valla

Following our series of special editorials made in collaboration with the London College of Style (@londoncollegeofstyle) we present “Dare to Dare“, an editorial that features the work of stylists Yunji Kim (@ykim00), Gursharan Bolina (@gursharanbolina), Natasha Cunha (@styledxtasha), and Adriana Romero (@romerastudio_), captured under the lens of photographer Zuzu Valla (@zuzu.valla) and starring Erik Bjorn (@erikbjorns) at PRM Agency (@prm_agency).

Inspired by the flowers featured on Ari Aster’s “Midsommar”, the editorial aimed to show the side of femininity with flowers, bright colors, odd and soft shapes, expressing a connection to one’s freedom and sexuality, the bond between femininity and masculinity.

The styling team commented further:

“We wanted to show As stylists, we do a bit of everything. But we tend to lean towards more of surrealism. We love to play with colors and fabrics. Beauty, clothes do not have a gender and can be worn by anyone. So why should it matter what we wear if it makes us feel good.”

Bringing their vision to reality, pieces used included Ella Douglas, Kendall McCready “Happily Ever Right Here Right Now” collection, Christiana Hadjipapa, and Dhenze.
