On Saturday, 15-year-old La Masia prodigy Lamine Yamal made history by making his FC Barcelona first-team debut under the guidance of coach Xavi Hernandez. Yamal entered the pitch in the 83rd minute during the Blaugrana’s resounding 4-0 victory over Real Betis at Camp Nou.
Although the main headlines focused on established stars such as Raphinha, who scored a goal and provided an assist, and midfielder Pedri, who shined in his playmaking role after a 64-day absence due to a hamstring injury suffered against Manchester United in the Europa League, attention was also on young Yamal.
