The halftime show has earned its loyal fans, as it is considered one of the most important musical moments of the year, and in this LVI edition, it seeks to showcase and honor African-American artists.
SoFi Stadium (@sofistadium) will host several music stars, including Kendrick Lamar (@kendricklamar) and Snoop Dogg (@snoopdogg), who declared a few days ago that appearing in the Super Bowl is a dream come true.
Rappers Dr. Dre (@drdre), Snoop Dogg (@snoopdogg), Eminem (@eminem), and Kendrick Lamar (@kendricklamar) will perform together for the first time at the halftime show. They are joined by Mary J. Blige (@therealmaryjblige) , an American R&B singer, and actress who has won 9 Grammys.
“While it’s happening, I’m in the zone. I’m sticking to the script, sounding good, looking good, and feeling good. I want to give a great presentation. After the fact, that’s when I’ll get nervous watching it to see what the reaction is. But while I’m having it,” Snoop Dogg told the AP about the show.
Just like the previous edition, the Super Bowl prepared a pre-show hours before the final in which the New York duo The Chainsmokers (@thechainsmokers) will perform, who will also have special guests. The concert will be broadcast live through the TikTok platform on Sunday, February 13th at 11:55 a.m.
The country music performer Mickey Guyton (@mickeyguyton) is the singer who will perform the anthem of the United States, We will also see Jhené Aiko (@jheneaiko) who will sing “America the Beautiful“.
Zedd (@zedd), DJ and Grammy Award-winning producer will provide the music during the players’ warm-ups before the game.
The halftime show will start at approximately 7:00 p.m., once the second quarter of the game has finished.
