Despite being his first photoshoot, the handsome model Tyre Langley @iamtyrelangley represented by Liam Management @liammgmt poses exceptionally for this really cool fashion editorial, focused on the way of seeing changes throughout time.
The household items change but the looks would fit in the 1970s to present time. The looks that were presented are classics that seemingly do not change since the creation of fashion. The sets and looks represent different eras of time from the vintage set, to the denim set, to the more modern lighter color set. The team wanted to incorporate Tyre’s current wardrobe and style into the sets and the idea came forward to show how while some fashionable pieces may change, certain fashion staples remain classics throughout time.
Photographed by Tony Liam @yoimtony and assisted by Hadi Hajomar @hadi_hajomar the shoot took place in a studio in Los Angeles, California, exclusively created for Vanity Teen online. The sets were made using vintage-looking items with pieces that could be found at a thrift store. The denim set was created using jeans and jean jackets attached to a metal stand. The bright set was created using a colored background and more light modern pieces. The photographer’s equipment consisted of a Canon EOS-1DX Mark II DSLR Camera with a 50MM fixed lens and the lighting was set using Westcott’s Ice Lights.
Transmitting a fun, playful, and relaxed vibe throughout all the shoots but keeping the professionalism, this editorial reflects the photographer’s style and his love for experiencing new styles and new shooting techniques. “I believe you should have a base style to show others what type of photography you typically do but also be willing to deviate from it to keep the love of photography alive and to challenge yourself.” This reflected the model’s style by giving him a great environment to feel and look his best. For his first shoot, he really showed that he was serious and committed to getting the best photos.
“Elegance is not standing out, but being remembered.”Giorgio Armani
About how the model was feeling for his first photoshoot, Tyre Langley said: “In a way, I felt alienated like I was isolated in the shoot and I was the star and main character. It felt like we were creating something that no one has seen before in a setting that everyone has seen before. I felt unique.”
