PUMA and Salehe Bembury officially unveil the Velum, a defining chapter in their collaboration, and Bembury’s very first lifestyle silhouette with the brand. The announcement follows the Velum’s initial reveal at an exclusive Paris Fashion Week event in June 2025.
Rooted in biomorphic design and the uniquely imaginative approach of Bembury, the Velum introduces an organic formscape that merges natural inspiration with technical precision. The lightweight engineered mesh upper is wrapped in a sculptural printed cage, which the footwear designer describes as 5D-printed, creating a tactile and expressive structure that feels both organic and futuristic.
Underfoot, the Velum features PUMA’s NITROFOAM™, a pinnacle cushioning technology that delivers lightweight comfort and responsive support. Arriving in a new “Rhubarb” colorway, the silhouette is defined by Bembury’s signature color language and bold approach to texture, positioning the Velum as a forward-looking expression of lifestyle footwear through a performance-driven lens.
