Burberry launches a cheerful holiday campaign with positive vibes and a really cool production in which we see what seems like a normal day but all of a sudden huge blocks of ice start falling from the sky. Instead of panicking, people start dancing with one another gracefully avoiding the ice.
The video sends a clear message. Despite these rough times, the world is going through, Burberry wants us “to look forward and look to the future” because good times are just around the corner and we need to be positive.
As they point out on their website, this campaign “focus on the future, on youth, on creativity. Celebrating community by bringing together different creative worlds and juxtaposing figures from fashion, dance, and sports to present a unified world, dynamic, diverse, and free.”
The uniting element is youth and exceptional creativity. Allowing people to achieve their full potential, to explore their dreams to the limit, to always go beyond. The film unlocks this – championing young dancers Zhané Samuels, Chantel Foo, Kevin Bago, and Robinson Cassarino – transporting the viewer from the everyday to the extraordinary, allowing them to explore a new fantasy.
The movie was created by Megaforce, a French creative group that also handles MVs for Rihanna and Madonna, formed by four young dancers. It depicts the diverse personalities and creativity of four people from different nationalities colliding with each other and evolving towards a free and united future. In addition, the campaign is also part of Burberry’s efforts to support the younger generations around the world.
All the items featured on the video can be seen and bought here and you can also take a look at the full collection.
