Pharell Williams, the founder of the sustainable skincare brand Humanrace, is a well-known artist, songwriter, philanthropist, and entrepreneur. Collaborating with sports brand Adidas, the artist and his brand curated a capsule collection commemorating Adidas’ Samba outline with an innovative twist.
Previously, Pharell Williams’ Humanrace brand collaborated with Adidas (around spring) to unveil loungewear attire adorned with a distinctive Humanrace logo. With this recent AW22 Samba capsule collection, the apparel honours Adidas’ popularity in football history. The garments from the partnership include various items such as woven shorts, short and long-sleeve knit jerseys, and ripstop jackets in an array of colours like black, white, orange, and dark grey. Clothing in this collection is gender neutral and features the three white stripes, the Adidas trefoil logo, and Humanrace lettering embroidered on the front or back of the garment.

As part of the collection, the iconic Adidas Samba shoe is reimagined through a Humanrace lens, reflecting a contemporary model within a newer generation. The Samba shoe was curated using premium leather and suede, with zig-zag stitching adorning the three black stripes in resemblance to the original, renowned Samba model.

The collection is available on Adidas’ website linked here and on the Humanrace website!
