Max Verstappen, the winner of the 80th Formula 1 Grand Prix de Monaco™, received his prestigious trophy in a custom Louis Vuitton Travel Case. This marks the third year of the ongoing collaboration between the luxury house, Louis Vuitton, and the Automobile Club de Monaco.
Bespoke Craftsmanship: The Louis Vuitton Trophy Trunk
The trophy was encased in a unique Louis Vuitton trunk, a product of the exceptional savoir-faire of Louis Vuitton’s master artisans in Asnières, just outside Paris. The collaboration is a testament to Louis Vuitton’s extraordinary craftsmanship and the rich heritage of the esteemed race.
A Unique Presentation for an Iconic Race
Beginning in 2021, the trophy of the Formula 1 Grand Prix de Monaco™ has been presented in a specially created Louis Vuitton trunk. Designed and crafted by three specialized artisans, the trunk is a homage to the race itself. It’s adorned with the iconic Monogram canvas in Monegasque red, and features a “V” for “Victory” motif, mirroring the unique route of the race. It beautifully captures the 19 turns of the 3.337-kilometer track.
