Leica Introduces the M11 Monochrom, a Revolutionary Fourth-Generation Black-and-White Sensor Camera

The renowned camera brand Leica has launched the M11 Monochrom, their latest camera equipped with a dedicated black-and-white sensor, as the successor to the groundbreaking M Monochrom from 2012. With nearly 70 years of experience in rangefinder cameras, Leica continues to offer quality and classic design in its new model.

Made in Germany, the M11 Monochrom features a fully metallic body coated in scratch-resistant black and a durable leather casing. The high-quality aluminum top cover and sapphire glass display give it a timeless and discreet appearance. The Leica logo has been omitted in this model to emphasize its minimalist design.

The M11 Monochrom’s technical performance focuses on capturing the essence of photography through light and shadow composition. Equipped with a full-frame triple-resolution black-and-white sensor, the camera delivers exceptional black-and-white images and supports files in DNG and JPEG formats, as well as resolutions of 6,000, 10, 36, and 18 megapixels. The ISO sensitivity ranges from 125 to 200,000, allowing for clear and natural images even in low-light conditions, with an extremely low noise level.

The M11 Monochrom includes 256GB of built-in storage and easily connects to the Leica FOTOS app, ensuring a convenient mobile workflow. Users can quickly upload photos for post-processing via Bluetooth and the USB-C interface, or control the camera directly from the app, with a preview function that enables photo filtering on mobile devices.

The Leica M11 Monochrom is now available for purchase at Leica physical stores, online shops, and authorized dealers worldwide.
