Lacoste launches a special limited-edition collection in collaboration with the nature channel National Geographic, featuring animal prints in the shirts, jackets, and also in the logo itself. Taking inspiration from different animal species, this collection shares the love for nature.
As the main aim of National Geographic, this collection also shares the love for the Earth and nature and the need to take care of it and all the animals living with us. The designs for this collection are based on Joel Sartore’s archives, which documents more than 10,500 animal species, and Lacoste has chosen some of them to create these incredible pieces. Some of the selected animal species are the Blue poison dart frog, the Halloween pennant, the Grévy’s zebra, and the jaguar.
You will be able to learn about the species that inspired each garment in the collection as all the items include a special label with detailed information about it. Coming from such an important company, this collection is eco-responsible and sustainable, coming from recycled polyester in bags to organic cotton in polo shirts and natural rubber in shoe soles.
The Lacoste x National Geographic collection will be available on November 11, 2020, in all Lacoste stores, in select multi-brand stores, and on Lacoste.com
