KENZO Joins Forces with British Brand Hunter for a Vintage-inspired Collection

KENZO launches a fresh collaboration with renowned British brand, Hunter, blending East and West influences in their Fall/Winter 2023 line. Echoing the Ivy League essence, the collaboration seamlessly integrates vintage allure with modern-day trends.

The spotlight shines on a capsule collection of high and mid-top boots, drawing inspiration from duck-hunting boots of the 1960s. Boasting a rich mix of rubber, suede, and leather, the boots present a harmonious color blend of Hunter’s signature green and black, accentuated by a vibrant KENZO red and the emblematic Boke flowers.

For men, the collection offers a utilitarian army-green lace-up ankle boot, enhanced with recycled nylon and traditional zigzag lacing. Notably, the standout red sole and black detailing are produced using eco-friendly, FSC-certified rubber. The boot is embellished with the iconic Boke flower design on its outsole and dual branding, featuring ‘Hunter’ on the tongue and ‘KENZO PARIS’ on the back upper. Parallel to this design, a multi-material ankle boot is available, comprising of felt, leather, and recycled polyester, paired with a cover gaiter in either a green-red duo or a sleek all-black.

Concluding the collection, the iconic unisex Wellington boot, dating back to 1956, is reinvented. Adorned with the KENZO Boke flower motif, this boot is constructed from durable, matte-finished, vulcanized rubber. The inner lining reveals whimsical Hana dots, crafted from recycled polyester, with the Hunter logo taking pride of place at the boot’s forefront.
