Esteemed artist KAWS has recently joined forces with the Artist Plate Project for yet another incredible collaboration. The project, initiated by Coalition for the Homeless in 2020, has so far teamed up with over 98 world-renowned artists to create limited-edition plates. Proceeds from these Artware Editions will benefit thousands of food providers, crisis services, housing providers, and other critical assistance for those experiencing homelessness or precarious living situations.
The collaborative plate features a deep navy-blue base adorned with KAWS’ iconic red graphics, a signature KAWS image, and a description of the artwork on the plate’s reverse side. Complementing this design are the Coalition for the Homeless and @theprospectny logos in black, along with printed signatures on a custom artist box.
Priced at $250, the purchase of just one plate can help provide meals for over 100 hungry and homeless individuals.
