HYBE and Geffen Records have officially unveiled the name of their newest international girl group: SAINT SATINE. The announcement came during the finale of the Japanese audition program WORLD SCOUT: THE FINAL PIECE, which streamed exclusively on ABEMA.
The four-member act combines rising global talent with a newly discovered breakout star. Returning trainees Emily from the United States, Lexie from Sweden, and Samara from Brazil first gained attention through the Netflix series Pop Star Academy: KATSEYE, where they built a strong international fanbase. Now, they are joined by Sakura, a 16-year-old contestant from Japan who earned the final spot in the lineup after competing against more than 14,000 applicants.

Alongside the finale, HYBE and Geffen released the digital project World Scout: The Final Piece – Finale, featuring two tracks tied to the competition’s last performances. Sakura appears on “PARTY b4 the PARTY,” an energetic anthem driven by booming bass, sharp percussion, and playful vocal chemistry. The song highlights the group’s bold personality and performance style. The second track, “WE RIDE,” features finalist Ayana and leans into a smoother R&B-inspired sound with nostalgic early-2000s influences.
According to the labels, the name SAINT SATINE represents the balance between elegance and charisma. “Saint” reflects musical excellence and stage presence, while “Satine” symbolizes sophistication and refined style.
The project continues HYBE and Geffen’s global artist strategy, following the success of KATSEYE. That group recently earned Grammy and American Music Award nominations, proving the companies’ vision for internationally diverse pop acts can resonate worldwide.
With its lineup finally complete, SAINT SATINE is preparing to make its official entry onto the global music scene.
