Disney’s Create 100 Campaign Features Unique Art Inspired by Disney

A Collaboration of 100 Creative Minds

For Disney’s Create 100 global campaign, a multitude of renowned visionaries across various creative industries has been invited to interpret their personal connections to Disney’s stories and characters. These bespoke creations are then auctioned off to raise funds for Make-A-Wish.

Honoring a Creative Legacy with Mickey Mouse Sculpture

The first item unveiled in this campaign is a multi-colored Mickey Mouse sculpture from Virgil Abloh Securities. Inspired by the late Virgil Abloh’s original artwork, the piece signifies a nostalgic reinterpretation of the iconic Disney character.

Athiththan “Athi” Selvendran, COO of Virgil Abloh Securities, says, “We wanted to bring a piece of artwork that was originally created by Virgil himself into the world through innovative metalwork and craftsmanship.” The artwork allows Disney fans to engage with Virgil’s creativity and the magic of Disney.

Continuing the Magic with More Contributions

The project titled “The Structural Sorcerer,” according to Selvendran, “represents the magic of Disney’s Fantasia where Mickey Mouse opens up a world of opportunities.” This campaign will continue with more contributions from esteemed creatives like Beyoncé, Christian Louboutin, and Tommy Hilfiger, further expanding the Create 100 portfolio.
