Collaborations seem to be the hottest item on the menu this days, as Dua Lipa, Ru Paul and Travis Scott joined respectively: Versace, Balenciaga and Dior.
Dua Lipa and Versace
The singer has become the new face of Versace’s autumn-winter campaign, the luxury brand that accompanied her throughout her career. We can’t say that we are too surprised, as we’ve seen the singer fashioning Versace’s pieces several times, but we are happy to see the collaboration taking it’s official status.
“Dua Lipa!! I can’t tell you how excited and thankful I am to have you as the star of my next campaign. The world is not ready for how GORGEOUS you look in these images! I love you”, said Donatella in a photo she posted on her own Instagram account. Uploading a series of the images to her own account, Dua Lipa called the designer “an icon and a legend”, adding “this day will be one I’ll never forget!!!!”
In photos taken by Mert & Marcus, Dua is seen wearing a sophisticated printed coat, also a dress with the new “La Greca” pattern (you’ll see it in her nails too!), and a monochromatic set in red, consisting of a cropped top and skirt coupled with platforms and tights. Lastly our favourite look: Dua in a yellow dress with sweetheart neckline, holding an iconic La Medusa bag in vibrant red and using a black bandana that contrasts with her brand new copper colored long hairstyle.

RuPaul and Balenciaga
RuPaul Charles partners with Balenciaga, as he was selected by Demna Gvasalia, creative director of the brand, to present a new musical playlist and a capsule collection.
This is the third take on Balenciaga’s ongoing project with Apple Music. You’ll be able to enjoy a list of songs that reunites disco, house, and pop-heavy sounds, curated by the undisputed queen of drag queens. And of course her own “Sissy That Walk” is featured, so you can get ready to have fun with the selection, and listen to it here.
The capsule consists of unisex and limited edition merchandising pieces by Balenciaga that capture the signature of the queer icon, and includes basics and accesories. The highlight is a short sleeved t-shirt that reads “Balenciaga Music Limited Edition Merch” alongside Ru’s autograph.

Travis Scott and Dior
Travis Scott has been very busy with fashion these days, after being part of Bottega Veneta’s campaign in Issue 02 now we know that he’s been also working with Dior not for a capsule, but a whole joint Spring-Summer 2022 collection.
Kim Jones, house designer, said that the partnership is “an unprecedented event [representing] the first full Dior collection ever created with a musician”. According to an Instagram post from Jones, the collaboration took hold when he and Scott first discussed Cactus Jack’s work with the Parsons School of Design in New York City.
The show was described as “a conversation between two friends, two cultures, and two different eras”. The collection, inspired by texas landscape has a sober color palette in earthy tones (with the raper’s favoruite brown) combined with pink, purple and a vibrant green. It includes knitted sweaters that feature illustrations by the artist, pieces with a monogram print that mixed Christian Dior’s classic CD with ‘TJ’ for Travis Jack as well as bootleg trousers and a new addition to the canon of Dior sneakers.
The grammy award winning artist was also in charge of the music for the runway. The two men took a bow at the finale together. The collection ideated by Kim Jones and Travis Scott is available to view online at the brand’s website.
