To celebrate queer club culture and the safe spaces they provide for the LGBTIQ+ community, COS has unveiled a limited-edition capsule collection of t-shirts. Each unique design is a collaboration with four iconic clubs around the world: Horse Meat Disco, House of Yes, Sink The Pink, and Churros con Chocolate.
Even before the pandemic, these spaces have been dwindling in number, and many still face battles due to transphobia, homophobia, and gentrification. These beating hearts of many queer communities offer a space to connect and celebrate, allowing freedom to be oneself.
A Collection Full of Individuality
Horse Meat Disco’s t-shirt embodies the creativity and individuality of each collaborator. As international music festival headliners, the bold, colorful DISCO design represents the community that comes together through a love for disco music and dancing.
Based in New York, House of Yes, a space dedicated to connection and creativity, offers a powerful heart-shaped design with interconnected lines representing love while creating something unique and beautiful. The legendary UK collective and advocate for self-expression, Sink The Pink, shares a fun Queen of Club design, a beautiful representation of their legacy. And Spain’s fun festival, Churros con Chocolate, recreates its iconic poster designs, which depict costumes and their extravagant guests.
Photographed by Brett Lloyd, the campaign features faces that form the heart and soul of LGBTQIA+ communities around the world. This year, COS will support several charities and European organizations with donations: Kaleidoscope, Trust Not a Phase, Observatori Contra l’Homofòbia, and Margate Pride.
The COS Pride collection will be available worldwide on cos.com and in selected stores starting in June. Don’t miss this unique celebration of queer culture and support for the LGBTQIA+ community.
