Known for its deep connection to various artistic disciplines, the Italian luxury fashion house Bottega Veneta has once again intertwined its brand with the world of art. Music, cinema, sculpture, and architecture have all been touched by the brand, now under the direction of Matthieu Blazy.
Bottega Veneta’s Ephemeral Space
During the recent Milan Design Week, Bottega Veneta collaborated with architect Gaetano Pesce to create an ephemeral space. This venture was met with great acclaim, further cementing the brand’s association with the architectural world.
From Milan to Venice
After the success in Milan, Bottega Veneta is setting its sights on Venice, the city of canals. The reason for this move is the 18th International Architecture Exhibition titled “Spaziale. Everyone belongs to everyone else,” set to take place during the Biennale di Venezia. This event is curated by Fosbury Architecture and proudly sponsored by Bottega Veneta.
Mondo Novo: Reflecting on Modern Architecture
During the exhibition, the Italian Pavilion will host a Public Programme named “Mondo Novo”. It comprises five moments of reflection on crucial issues in today’s architecture, featuring some of the most relevant and innovative figures in the international scene. The program will run at the Teatrino Grassi in Venice, from May 20th to November 26th, 2023.
Commenting on the upcoming exhibition, Matthieu Blazy said, “Supporting the Italian Pavilion and its public program is an honor. The global view of Venice presents an incredible platform for navigating ideas and creativity, especially in a collective, multi-disciplinary effort with Fosbury Architecture.”
